Belgium/France

Well, we decided to take one last vacation while we still had our travel benefits. The original plan was Munich but when we didn't get on the flight the next plane to Europe was Brussels, Belgium. So, off we went. We spent the first day looking around the city and had Belgian waffles. Wow! they were amazing! The next afternoon we hopped on a train to a smaller town in the southern part of Belgium called Namur. There was a wonderful citadel there that we could walk around in. It turns out that our hotel was part of it so we just had to step outside to see the amazing sights. The next day we hopped on one of those speed rails and in an hour and a half we were in wonderful Paris! We had one day to see all the sights and we pulled it off! It was great! I can't wait to go back when we can spend more time there.

Destin, FL

So, after 10 years I finally got to go to Destin, FL. It was everything I imagined it would be. We took advantage of some of our last days of travel benefits and decided to go. Shelby and Max had a fun time burying Max in the snow white sand. We went to the Gulfarium and saw a Dolphin and Sea Lion show. It was amazing.

Birthday Boy

Max turned 3 yesterday! Shelby made the bestest cake ever! Here is Shelby and Max putting together his Lightening McQueen scooter.

CRJ

We had an open house at our company. Families were invited to tour our hanger and check out some new airplanes. We were able to take a picture of Korri and Max sitting in the cockpit in one of the new planes we will now operate. Its Shelby's "office."

St. Lucia

We recently took advantage of our first paid vacation ever and went to St. Lucia. It's an island in the Southern Caribbean. Here is the view of the private beach from our room at Zamaca, the B&B that we stayed in. Shelby and Max were trying to climb the coconut tree. Here is a picture of Max and Shelby on one of the cannons left from the fort. We had a driver, Melvin, that took us around to all of the local places. We got to see ALL of the island. Not just the tourist spots. This is Korri and Max at the beach where the locals go. Max loved the boats.

Catching up a bit

We got Max his first pair of snow pants and jacket. In this picture he was all ready to go on a four-wheeler ride with daddy. Doesn't he look soo cute! Max was our little motocross racer for Halloween. It was a shock to actually have him wear his costume all night and not one tear! We took him trick-or-treating for the first time and he loved getting all of the candy. He was very disappointed when it was time to go home.
